I’ve had many Venus flytraps die after I have bought them from my local garden store because they were too weak and I would die over time.

The Venus flytrap is probably the most cultivated carnivorous plant. A cultivar is an assemblage of plants selected for desirable characteristics that are maintained during propagation. A Venus flytrap cultivar might have big or deformed traps and is therefore given a ‘special’ name.
Examples of cultivars are the Venus flytrap ‘B52’, which has very large traps that can grow up to 2" (5cm) wide.

Whether the seeds are good or not good depends on the seller. You might buy really cheap Dionaea muscipula seeds on Ali-Express that grow just fine, but there is also a big chance that you buy fake seeds.
When you want to buy carnivorous plant seeds online, I would recommend reading the reviews of the seller. If there are enough positive reviews on the website or seller's profile, it’s probably safe to buy the seeds.
But when there are a lot of negative reviews or no reviews at all, it’s possible that you buy fake seeds.

Blue, Neon-Green, and Purple Venus Flytraps
Lately, there have been a lot of ‘special’ colored Venus flytraps advertised online, with blue, green, and purple traps. They look really cool and rare but in fact, it isn’t what it looks like.
They are FAKE, don’t buy them. Blue, green, and purple Venus flytraps don’t exist.
As cool as it would have been to grow purple Venus flytraps, it’s pointless to buy the seeds because they are unfortunately fake. These sellers use this kind of trick to market their products and scam people, which is actually illegal.
